Our first meeting with Travis was fun, informative and not your typical "sales guy". What I loved was his helpfulness on finding solutions for our situation. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! Now, I can't say we didn't run into some issues, but it wasn't in their control. Murphy's Law was in full affect with parts and sensors but every single person from Charlie, Abby, Zach, Chandler, Catlin and Mitch made us feel like it was there personal mission to make it right. He asked me this several times and I clearly told him nothing was purchased as we didn't even know what needed to be installed!! That was the whole point of asking for a consult. I'm not sure why the owner is lying but BE CAREFUL CUSTOMERS. Do not hire a business who lies. Such an obvious lie as well that doesn't even make sense! Just called to ask for an HVAC installation. The guy told me I would never find someone to install that. Uhh What??? Oasis and Laverne and son already gave me quotes! I would surely question the owner's abilities. EXCELLENTVerified Amazing customer service. I called Ted first to help diagnose what might be wrong with my Carrier furnace, because no one in Bakersfield could identify the actual issue. I had hired two people before Ted, and all they told me was that it just needed a cleaning but they were completely wrong. Ted took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot, checking every possibility step by step, and he finally found the real problem. The next day, he picked up the parts and installed everything that same afternoon. Ted is truly an incredible professional. I've never spoken with someone so knowledgeable and thoughtful about HVAC. He's a total rock star. First, our son's a/c went out and I reached out to Hawley's based on all of the positive reviews I have read. He got to his unit yesterday, a Saturday, and determined the problem and will order the part and fix it as soon as he can! Well believe it or not, later yesterday afternoon, our darn unit also went out!! So I contacted Ted and he was willing to come by even though it was after 5:00pm to take a look! What a guy! I can't thank him enough and honestly have not experienced such honest and caring customer service in a very long time! Thank you Ted!!Posted onVerified Ted Hawley has been my repair guy since I moved to Bakersfield in 2003. He has always been soft spoken and extremely honest to me in my dealings with him. My HVAC finally bit the dust in November. I had Ted come over and he finally admitted that yeah, my HVAC was caput. He advised me that if I could wait until January 1, 2023 then I will be eligible for large Federal Rebates that will be coming out as part of the new federal infrastructure programs, rebates that are generally much larger than prior programs from previous years. Anyway, we waited till January 1 and he installed a state of art Seer 19, 5 ton Bosch Heat Pump on my roof. Beautiful installation with no hitches. This heat pump seems to be saving me money because the heat pump does not use natural gas, so I pay nearly nothing for that side of the PG&E bill, and the electrical use has bumped up slightly, but is completely offset by the natural gas savings. Only time will tell the big story on how efficient this unit is, but so far my PG&E bill is showing moderately good savings. Also the heat pump unit operates very quietly which is a complete surprise because I can't hear it come on inside or outside the house. Hoping for huge savings this summer, as all heat pumps are more efficient in hotter weather. I researched all things central air, and set up meetings with companies in the TehachapI/Bakersfield area to get 3 quotes. Hawley was straightforward and didn't try to upsell unneeded add-ons. My husband and I were so impressed with every aspect of our install. Ted Hawley is very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. In fact, I'm always afraid they are making a mistake when I get their invoice because it is so much less than I expected. Steve Hawley is a great guy who is super thorough and they never go away without taking care of my problems in a satisfactory way. I found them on Yelp and glad I did. They do get busy, but they really try hard to get to a customer as fast as they can. I can't tell you how crazy I've been treated by other HVAC companies. Never by Hawley. Just good work at a great price. You guys are a comfort to me, mostly because you get the temps in my house comfortable again. But also because I know I can depend on you. Thank you!!!
